Opened it about 20 times, had a few high req common golds, couple lockpicks and the usual sweets/drinks.

It's funny though, how the chest supposedly drops all these tasty weapons, yet nobody ever manages to take a screenie. Would probably be the first thing I did if I got a nice drop.

Personally, if I dropped a crystalline from the chest I would just be shouting in guild chat about how lucky I am, and wouldn't really care about taking a screen. Just to let you notice it: how many "high end" weps are on sale in this days on GWG? Never seen so many Stygian Reavers before. Never. Coincidence? Of course not. I know you trying to save the "economy" in GW, but I really had a laugh thinking about the guy who bought the first q9 eternal blade...now, 1 month ago I wanted a gothic dual axe q9 +15^50, because I saved up the 100+20e needed for that...now I will just wait a bit more, till the price will drop to something like 60k for r9 ones lol (personally I don't care if it is inscribable or not, just want it because it fits my look). So well....just surrend to the evidence.

Yeah thats exactly what i did, and it is pretty obvious that there are much more of these things simply by looking at guru sell forums or even by going into kamadan and seeing more than usual and lower prices. Ive had a bunch of people in my alliance say theyve gotten a reaver or a crystalline or something else pretty rare in the last couple days.

It seems just luck of the draw with what u get from the chests, a lot of people use 100 keys get nothing, others use 10 and get a crystalline, but bottom line is they are dropping out of that chest a lot more often than HoH was giving them out, and the prices are gonna keep dropping

Machete req 12 ( +30 health, lightning damage, 15-22 )
Grim cesta (req 13)
Flask of firewater X2
Creme X1
Key X2
Elite ritualist tome.

Overall no matter what it is its better then buying a bazajillion tournament tokens.

Ahh so true. If theirs one thing WoW has on GW its an economy that doesnt suck.

Hopefully anet learns their lesson from GW1: It doesnt matter how much you try to save it and how much you nerf farming: without a viable in-game market/auction system that can be afk'd, an economy is going to fail. Communication among buyers/seller's is a major key to a fair economy.

That's also the players, not just the system. If you try to talk to anyone who is trading in this game unless it's saying 'yes I will pay what you ask', they give you a tirade of insults about how they know what they are doing and to shut the RED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GO up, or they put you on ignore.

Gotta love buying a high end weapon in the morning and by night time its lots 75% of its value, so much so that it looks like the entire High End Thread may contain nothing other than Mini-Pets inside of a week!!

Spent 100K testing the lucky dip system. 20 keys yielded :

2 creme brulees
7 firewater
2 transmogrifier tonics (ugh - instantly destroyed them)
regular Monk Tome
regular Necro Tome
regular Rit Tome
regular Assassin Tome
5 crappy gold items
(the only things I kept from the golds was an R9 Canthan Fire Staff (5-10K if I am lucky) and a 19% Forget Me Not.

For me the experience was a big /FAIL but curiousity lured me in .

LOL that is indeed epic fail for you, and also for real results i think with so much variation you would need to use about 500+ for some close to accurate

Am I the only one who thinks that Crystalline Sword is ugly? I really don't like it, I would prefer Glacial Blade skin 5 times over it. But yeah this sword is just about e-penis elitism.

Just my 2c.

This is pretty interesting. The chest was opened hundreds of thousands times and no such rarity came out? All the items we know have other drop sources, like Eternal Blade dropping from UW chest and Crystallines, Stygian Reavers and most other goods drop from HoH chest.

Meh, no use for money so I spent about 600k on keys.
Too lazy to count everything I got.

14 keys yielded:

1 Elite Warrior Tome
1 Elite Mesmer Tome
1 Elite Elementalist Tome
1 Ranger Tome
2 Flasks of Firewater
2 Creme Brulees
5 Golds (nothing spectacular, but a r11 Mursaat Hammer might be worth something)
